A Good Afternoon!

Last night was the coldest so far, with temperatures dropping to -7 apparrently. There was no way we were going anywhere - Jon was working in his luxury shed on his motornike project so I got out my craft stuff. Jill came over for a couple of hours and had a great afternoon. I started my sewing project and all went well, discounting the issue of the bondaweb! Oh well an ironing board cover is easily replaced isn't it?

  10. What fun!
denise you might choose to invest in a couple of thos baking sheets, £1.99 in Morrisons. Theyre meant to do in cake tins and whatever, but they are wonderful for when youre using bondaweb. Lay one under your work and one over. press (not iron, as it slips) and allow to cool for a few seconds. Even if the bondaweb melts onto the sheet, it will come away easily. Of course you could also throw an old sheet over your irnoning booard and save the £1.99 LOL
    Enjoy your sewing bee :-D
